Contract Land/Division Order Analyst

Bayswater is a Denver-based oil and natural gas development company that owns and operates in the DJ Basin in Colorado and the Permian Basin in Texas. There is an immediate opening for an on-site Contract Land /Division Order Analyst for a 90-day engagement, with opportunity to extend the contract as mutually agreeable.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Texas and Colorado assets
  • Completing ownership transfers; including title research and BOLO investigation
  • Creating and sending division orders and transfer division orders
  • Generate monthly revenue release report for revenue close
  • Updating revenue decks
  • Owner Relations
  • Filing/Scanning
  • Clean-up projects
  • Land Administration projects as needed
  • Checking in division order packets

Desired Experience:

2-5 years in Land or Land Admin

Ability to work in a high energy environment and meet monthly deadlines

Preferred experience in BOLO

Production Engineer

Founded in 2004, Bayswater is a Denver based oil and natural gas development company that owns and operates properties principally in Colorado & Texas. Since 2010, Bayswater has been a principal in a series of energy funds. Bayswater became a Registered Investment Advisor in 2016 and currently manages 3 active funds.

This is a newly-created position within the Bayswater group of companies, which will report to the VP of Operations.

This position will be based in Denver, Colorado and will require regular travel (up to 50%) to field operations in Howard County, TX.

Senior Production Engineer

Direct reports:                                       None

Major Responsibilities

  1. Optimize production performance and EUR from existing wells through workover, artificial lift changes/improvement, and management of surface equipment/facilities.
  2. Diagnose production or well operation problems, develop procedures to remedy problems, coordinate services required and direct field operations to execute the required procedure.
  3. Investigate best practices for production of various reservoirs and prepare sequential lift designs for “life-of-well”.
  4. Reduce operating expenses through application of new technologies, review of production chemical programs, relationships with key vendors, review of invoices.
  5. Regularly evaluate vendor partnerships for performance, safety, cost consistency, and corporate alignment.
  6. Execute innovative technical projects on legacy wells, document results and deliver conclusions to executive team for potential adoption on larger scale.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION:  KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Ideal Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 3 years production engineering experience with strong background in rod lift. Familiarity with ESP and gas lift a plus.
  • Familiarity with field operations of workover units, production equipment and facilities. Must be able to direct and/or supervise workover units and field personnel.
  • Technically proficient in various oilfield SCADA and data management software
  • Experienced with ECMC E-Forms and TXRRC online filings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Competitive salary with benefits commensurate with experience. Target salary $100,000-$160,000 per year.
